Being a Foster Parent is an incredible act of selflessness. It can be challenging enough to raise your own children, yet Foster Parents step up in our community to provide a loving home for children in need.
This year, On The Path, was excited to honor Martha Marcus, as Foster Parent of the Year for her exemplary parenting, sacrifice, and care for On The Path foster children. Ms. Marcus has continuously demonstrated unconditional care for foster children despite all the challenges ever-present in the life of a foster parent. She has accepted placements with some defiant behaviors but never ceases to back down from a challenge. Ms. Marcus has done an amazing job advocating for children while even adopting into her own family.
